GEI’s Boston Area is seeking a motivated & experienced Senior BIM Specialist with AutoCAD and Civil 3D and/or Revit modeling design experience to assist on a variety of projects throughout the country. Work will include but not be limited to the market sectors of water, environment, energy, transportation waterfront and large civil engineering and infrastructure. Clients include federal, state and municipal governments, private sector commercial and industrial, and public agencies and utilities.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Develop 2D and 3D design models and drawing packages.
Assist in the advancement of best practices for modeling and project workflows.
Review 3D design models and project data for quality, organization, and performance.
Assist in training and mentoring entry and mid-level staff.
Oversee production, manage staff, and provide Quality Reviews on Engineering Drawings and Documents prepared for clients.
Collaborate with GEI Staff in the Boston Area and East Region Offices.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Civil Engineering or other relevant degree.
Minimum of 8 years of Revit and AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience.
Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Direct and coordinate the assembly of final plan sets from multiple disciplines.
