GEI is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team.  Position preferred in our Woburn, MA or Marquette, MI office. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting GEI’s corporate and operations team in various accounting and financial management responsibilities including, but not limited to, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and data analysis.    
 
Essential Responsibilities & Duties 
  • Perform work to high standards by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
  • Create new and enhance existing reports and models to better track financial and operational performance.
  • Analyze financial data and key performance indicators to identify causes in variances and trends.
  • Assist with quarterly forecasting and yearly budgeting.
  • Prepare and evaluate miscellaneous reporting and information requests.
  • Perform additional assignments as requested.
Minimum Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
  • Five years’ experience in finance, accounting or an analyst role in an AEC company preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications with advanced Excel knowledge
  • Experience with enterprise software such as BST, Deltek, Oracle, SAP is required.  Experience with BST is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft BI, Tableau or other business intelligence software preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail is essential
